About Us
The ROE Theater Club is an exciting new opportunity for students at River Oaks Elementary! This parent-led club, founded by Tara Stringer, is designed to be performance-driven, giving young performers a chance to shine on stage. In collaboration with the Stage Right Theatrical Institute and under the expert coaching and direction of Alli Ryan Winter, students will develop their talents while building confidence and creativity. Our inaugural production will be Seussical the Musical Kids, and we can’t wait to watch your children bring this beloved story to life!

Alli Ryan Winter is a theater director, producer, and actor with a dynamic career spanning the globe. From performing in over 30 productions as a union actor to directing more than 50 musicals, she has established herself as one of the leading children’s directors in the South. She is thrilled to bring her passion for theater to River Oaks Elementary, inspiring the next generation of performers.

MEET OUR FOUNDER/
PARENT COORDINATOR
Tara Stringer is a proud mom of three at River Oaks Elementary—twins Spencer and MaryAnsley (4th grade), and JP (2nd grade). Her passion for theater and the arts began
early in her life, growing up just outside of Washington, D.C. Tara’s love for the arts was ignited during her many train rides to New York, where she saw Broadway shows. She
still cherishes her first Playbill from Cats as a reminder of the inspiration those early experiences sparked within her.
Tara’s children have all followed their own creative paths. MaryAnsley and JP have been involved in Musical Theater, Acting, Singing, and Dancing from a young age. Their
experiences span from AD Players Education at the George Theater, Main Street Theater, HITs, TUTS, Wildfish, and Stage Right Theatrical Institute, to private lessons with Alli
Ryan Winter. Spencer’s creativity shines through Odyssey of the Mind, where he adds his unique spark to the family’s artistic journey. For over a year, Tara has envisioned the creation of the ROE Theater Club, and after months of planning, she is beyond excited to bring this vision to life for the school community. She can already picture the talented students on stage, the energy of the audience filling the room, and the excitement building as the curtain opens. Tara’s deepest hope is that the ROE Theater Club will provide a platform for students to discover their voices, build confidence, and experience the thrill of performing in front of
an appreciative audience. She is proud to contribute to the vibrant, creative energy that defines River Oaks Elementary and looks forward to continuing this artistic journey with
the parents and children of the ROE Theater Club.
