Group Assignments
Due to the high number of students who signed the interest form, we will be organizing three separate groups: two groups for grades K-2 and one group for grades 3-5. Each group will work on its own production, allowing us to give each student more personalized attention and a better opportunity to shine on stage. It is encouraged for parents to volunteer to help make these productions a success.
Auditions are held the second week of rehearsals and are evaluated by both outside judges and our coach to ensure fair and thoughtful casting. Every student will be given the audition song before Winter break to start preparing. Please note that casting decisions are final; each student is thoughtfully placed in a role where we believe they will shine, and we emphasize that every part is an important contribution to the production.
Rehearsals will be once a week starting directly after school until 5pm. There will be 20 minutes dedicated to snack time. Memorizing lines, attending every rehearsal and practicing at home are essential parts of your child's theater experience. While our main goal is to build confidence and ensure each child is HAVING FUN, we approach each production with a professional mindset, helping students learn responsibility and teamwork. By fully committing to their role, each child contributes to a show we can all be proud of and gains valuable skills in the process.
